The Recap – April 2023
by B. Zelkovich
Hi.
This is a little later than I’d like, but not as late as last months’ Recap so… Improvement?
*yeets self into the sun*
Total Word Count: 1,150
Okay, in all seriousness, I realize now that I had no business setting any sort of goals last month. The fact that I wrote any words at all (and on the novel to boot!) feels like a miracle. I kinda sorta re-established some routines, but then they got immediately screwed over again by a terrible migraine (hence why this post is so late).
So, I guess, I’m just like, happy I made it through?
Before I move on though, let me yell about something really quick:
The reviews are coming in (from Grimdark Magazine, Publisher’s Weekly, Foreword Reviews and more!) and the response so far has been overwhelmingly positive!
I’ve also been receiving messages from folks in my personal life, sharing that they’ve received their copies. I absolutely LOVE this so send me ALL the pics! Thank you so much for buying this book and reading my intense, heavy, sad sad story. It means everything to me!
If you haven’t bought yours yet, it’s not too late! Buy it here!
Total Hours: 29.5
Well. That makes sense, I guess. Hard to make a lot of progress on anything when you’re not spending time on them. Also, spending time on things means actually having time, energy, and health to do those things. That just wasn’t in the cards this past month.
That’s it. With house repairs cruising right along, I have to acknowledge that my bandwidth is limited right now. I can only devide my time between so many things AND the state of the house.
If I can buckle down and get some words down this month, that’d be great. I’d also really like to get back to my routine posts and outdoor adventures, especially as the weather improves.
You’ll also want to keep an eye out for a very fun, virtual event coming up in just two weeks! I’ll tell you more about it as we get closer!
I’ll be back very soon to talk about goals for the week *laugh sob*.
Until then, Bloggarts,
BZ
